The chance to try our wild blackberries in a freshly baked homemade pie attracts people from miles around.  The festival begins with a pancake breakfast held at the Grange Hall\, followed by a crafts fair and parade\, and ends with a raffle. The day’s events also include games for the kids\, a salmon bake and entertainment.  Proceeds from the event have provided scholarships for graduating Crescent High School seniors\, funds to community organization and equipment for the Joyce Fire Department.
