DESCRIPTION:Exciting News! ShrimpFest is Coming in 2025! \n\n\nAs many of you know\, the Emerald Town Alliance recently decided to discontinue planning Fjord Fest for 2025. In response\, the Brinnon Fire Association is stepping up to keep the tradition alive with the Brinnon ShrimpFest!\n\n\nAgain\, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Belinda Graham and the Emerald Town Alliance volunteers for their years of dedication in shaping an event our community has loved since 1993. We couldn’t let it go\, so we’re thrilled to carry on this beloved tradition in a new and exciting way!\n\n\nWe also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Yelvik’s General Store and the Hjelvik family for hosting the festival on their property in recent years. Your generosity and support have been a vital part of our success\, and we thank you for being an important part of the ShrimpFest’s story.\n\n\n 2025 Brinnon ShrimpFest Highlights \n\n\n New Date & Format: Now a one-day event on Saturday\, June 21st (no longer Memorial Day weekend).\n Extended Hours: Kicking off at 9 AM and wrapping up with a community dance until 10 PM!\n New Location: Pending permits\, the festival will move to Brinnon Town Center\, transforming Brinnon Lane into a street festival!\nBelt Sander Races are back.\nShrimp Cards: We will be doing a pre-sale “Shrimp Card” that will give you early access to shrimp sales and sample shrimp dishes from our vendors. Card holders also vote on best shrimp dish for our “Shrimply the Best” competition. More to come.\n Free Admission! Everyone is welcome—no entry fees!\n\n\nWant to get involved? Join us at our working group meetings every 2nd Monday of the month at 6 PM at the Brinnon Fire Department. The meetings are open to the public—come learn more\, share ideas\, or sign up to volunteer!
